Key Responsibilities:

KBR is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to join a team of quantitative analysts and modelers dedicated to conducting modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of emerging concepts for the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA) using advanced MS&A techniques and tools.

1. Participate in the definition and execution of study plans, instantiate simulation designs, run simulation experiments, analyze results, and create quality deliverables.
2. Work independently with minimal guidance, especially in complex situations.
3. Lead or participate in studies for senior military decision makers, technology developers, and acquisition professionals for use in CONOPS development, force structure design, resource allocation, and targeted technology insertion.
4. Develop, implement, and execute experiment design approaches, identify key metrics, analyze results, generate insights, and present findings to senior DoD leaders.
5. Conduct pre- and post-simulation analyses as needed.
6. Develop and instantiate platform and system models, model behaviors, and hierarchies in designated M&S environments.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in operations research, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance.
• 10+ years relevant experience, including at least 5 years in MS&A.
• Strong knowledge of simulation analysis and experiment design & analysis techniques.
• Skills in R, MATLAB, Python, JupyterLab, and/or Jupyter Notebook.
• Master’s degree in related fields.
• 12+ years relevant experience, including at least 6 years in MS&A.
• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in simulation analysis and experiment design & analysis techniques.
• Expertise in R, MATLAB, Python, JupyterLab, and/or Jupyter Notebook.
