Job summary

HMSHost at Boston Logan International Airport seeks an Operations Performance Controller to use financial and operational analysis to track metrics, support development and joint ventures, and provide financial and operational support to the location. You will monitor KPIs—labor, cost, revenue—and partner with management to drive store performance and process improvements.

Minimum qualifications include 6+ years in leadership or technical roles, with strong Excel modeling and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Total experience must exceed 6 years in a leadership or technical role.
• Leadership: 2 years supervising professionals in accounting/financial analysis preferred.
• Technical: 6–8 years in ledger reconciliation and financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree related to the functional area can count toward the 6-year requirement.
• MBA or related master’s degree can add up to 2 years.
• In Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail industry: 3–5 years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implements processes to track financial metrics across area of responsibility and drive sales, cost and labor controls.
• Provides input into development projects by evaluating financial risks and returns of new opportunities.
• Partners with branch management to improve performance via reviews of hours, variance analysis, and KPI trends.
• Evaluates accounting processes at locations and provides analysis to support sales growth and expense reductions.
• Maintains compliance with company standards and policies in operations control.
