Terracon’s Winterville, NC office is seeking an experienced Office/Operations Manager to lead a small engineering consulting team. You will direct project management, profitability, staffing, safety initiatives, client relations, and contract reviews to ensure successful delivery of services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience (or 12 years if no degree), prior management experience, and a valid driver’s license. Certification or licensure is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ practice experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years’ related experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee a small office supporting one or more service lines.
• Focus will be directed to management of specific projects and employee utilization for projects.
• Review contracts and proposals prepared by office personnel.
• Monitor job status reports and coordinate projects with staff.
• May participate with corporate marketing to maintain client contacts for future development of new business.
• Responsible for following requirements of the strategic plan; partner with Director, Regional Operations to grow office in accordance with the strategic plan.
• Manage risk related to projects. Ensure contracts are signed and fully executed prior to commencing work. Monitor adherence to corporate risk policies and practices. Hold Managers accountable for mitigating or eliminating risk.
• Communicates safety initiatives, rules and guidelines for Office or Region. Holds Managers and Employees accountable for following safety rules and guidelines.
• Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Ensure best practices are being followed and hold Managers accountable for quality control standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
