We save millions of people time at the end of their meal with a simple QR code scan. As we grow rapidly, we are expanding our team!

About The Role

As a Senior Operations Manager at sunday, your main goal will be to deliver a best-in-class experience to restaurateurs. Your responsibilities will begin when a restaurant chooses our solution: creating its business account, collecting relevant information, providing tailor-made QR codes, training the restaurant staff, and supporting them through top-tier account management. Managing thousands of restaurants will require building a complex but streamlined operational system. Join us in making it simple!

You will report to the Director of Operations US and collaborate daily with teams in Atlanta, Chicago, London, Paris, and beyond! You will also have opportunities to visit restaurants and enjoy their food :)

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless restaurant operations through effective delivery of our product
  • Create a frictionless onboarding process, reducing lead time from signing to activation, increasing adoption
  • Expand sunday’s presence in active restaurants by exploring innovative engagement strategies
  • Maintain excellent restaurant retention through outstanding customer service
  • Identify operational issues via data analysis, working with global analytics teams using advanced dashboards
  • Solve issues by improving processes and implementing ideas globally
  • Continuously improve the processes you and your team develop
Note: This role requires 30-50% travel

About You
  • Based in Chicago
  • 3-8 years of experience in customer success, account management, or operations at startups, in the food industry, hospitality, or professional services
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges faced by restaurant partners
  • Excellent diagnostic and analytical abilities to leverage spreadsheets, CRMs, and datasets
  • Ownership and growth mindset
  • Passion for scaling startups and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Project management skills: structured, reliable, detail-oriented, and effective communicator
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of restaurant experience (BOH, FOH, Management)
