The Sr Operations Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of the Operations department at Medix Biochemica - Weston
Minimum,7-10 years of experience in biochemical manufacturing. The individual must be self-motivated, hardworking, and willing to put extra effort into going above and beyond the minimum requirements.
At least a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or a related field.

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to verbally communicate with team members and coworkers to achieve tasks effectively and to write and record simple notes and figures.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to use the Microsoft® Office suite of programs, Adobe Acrobat, and other office and scientific software. Ability to graph or track data produced during typical manufacturing procedures.
Demonstrate strong leadership by setting clear expectations, aligning team priorities with business objectives, developing employees through coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
