Job summary

The Senior Operations Logistics Manager role with Eagle Systems is based at NAS Patuxent River, MD, offering a hybrid work arrangement of telework and in-office duties. • Experience with P-8A Poseidon or P-3C Orion logistics and maintenance is highly desired.

Senior Operations Logistics Manager

Job Responsibilities

Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician on the P-8A Mission Systems Team assisting with Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) and lifecycle management evolutions while supporting the APML and associated DAPMLs. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, ECP/TD support, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to domestic, RAAF Joint Program Office, and FMS P-8A in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Specific mission systems include IFFI, EWSP, EO/IR, and ESM. Duties may also include development of PowerPoint slides and supporting logistics presentations. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD, and includes a hybrid work environment (telework and in-office). Requisition ESI 0202.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Requires a bachelors degree, ten (10) years experience in operational logistics and/or maintenance engineering, and four (4) years of supervising three or more logisticians in support of an acquisition or operational command.
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of relevant experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering can be substituted for a BS/BA degree; additionally, an MS/MA degree or designation as a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) may be substituted for two (2) years of required logistics experience.
• Requires operational aviation maintenance control experience.
• Backgrounds in ECP/TD development and avionics (i.e. prior US Navy AT/AE) are highly desired.
• Previous experience with P-8A Poseidon and/or P-3C Orion aircraft acquisition logistics and/or operational maintenance activities is highly desired.
• Salary Range: $90,000-$125,000/yr, negotiable depending on experience/skillsets.
• Must be a US citizen, have a valid state drivers license, and be able to obtain/retain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
