Job summary

Soaring Towers in Newton, MA is seeking a Head of Residential Construction Operations to oversee daily operations across production, scheduling, resources, and systems for high-end home remodeling projects.

You will lead project managers and field teams, develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, manage profitability, and ensure excellent client experience, safety, and quality on multiple projects across Greater Boston.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of operations leadership experience in residential construction/remodeling.
• Ability to manage multi-project operations and lead teams toward goals.
• Strong margins, labor productivity, and cost-control knowledge.
• Ability to create SOPs and drive process improvements.
• Clear communicator who resolves conflicts and aligns teams.
• Comfort with technology and job-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational performance across multiple active residential remodeling projects.
• Develop and maintain a reliable scheduling system optimizing labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Manage project margins, labor productivity, material controls, and change orders; establish KPIs.
• Maintain high-quality client experience, safety, and site cleanliness.
• Lead, coach, and develop project managers and operations staff; strengthen subcontractor relationships.
• Improve job tracking, documentation, communication, and overall operational efficiency.
