Qualifications

• 4–6 years of related functional experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience with DOT-regulated positions required.
• High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• People: ensure supervisors and associates are trained and competent; recruit, hire, train, develop and retain quality associates; maintain two-way communication; build relationships with associates, customers, and support departments.
• Operations: meet or exceed customer KPIs; interact daily with local customer; drive operational improvements in routing, carrier selection, backhauls and loading; share best practices with other Penske sites.
• Finance: develop and execute annual financial and operating plan; manage P&L to meet targets; address issues in operating metrics; ensure accurate billing and payroll processing.
• Safety: foster a safety culture; implement continuous improvement to reduce incidents; ensure compliance with regulations; coach on safety observations.
• Growth/Customer Experience: identify improvements; track value delivered to customer; pursue profitable opportunities; use metrics to maximize efficiencies and cut costs.
• Fleet/Assets: improve fleet utilization and fuel efficiency; contribute to equipment specs; maintain relationships with PTL district and vendors; handle other tasks as assigned.
