Job summary

Target Windsor, CT is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for our Food Distribution Center. You will lead safety-focused teams, drive continuous improvement, and align operations with guest service goals.

Expect hands-on coaching, on-floor presence, and daily use of metrics to guide decisions. The role requires a four-year degree or 3–5 years in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics with supervisory experience; strong communication, problem-solving, and staffing lifecycle skills; and

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in logistics, operations, or related field or 3–5 years in manufacturing/distribution with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of metrics and process improvement methods.
• Experience managing staffing lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture with training and accountability on the floor.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, GEMBA walks, and data analytics.
• Coach leaders, set priorities, plan resources, and communicate the big picture.
