Job summary

Waste Resource Management (WRM) is seeking a General Manager to lead strategic and operational functions across trucking, wastewater processing, composting, and railyard operations. The role reports to the VP of Operations and oversees sales, administration, project management, and service delivery with a goal of exceeding annual targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of operations leadership experience in environmental services or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational and sales functions across trucking, wastewater treatment, composting, and railyard logistics.
• Optimize deployment of resources to meet current and future demands.
• Develop and articulate the overall strategic direction for the business.
• Retain and develop a high-performing workforce with collaboration across functions.
• Establish and improve operational processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety across markets.
