Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the President in day-to-day operations. The role requires taking on tasks with minimal instruction while keeping the big picture in view and collaborating with leadership and partners to identify improvements.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical supply distribution, organizational effectiveness, and operations management, with the ability to drive efficiency and profitability across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of business experience, preferably in electrical supply distribution.
• Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Experience with project management and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Long-term planning to create initiatives that support the company’s goals.
• Coordinate different teams to foster cross-team learning.
• Work with cross functions to shift priorities and projects as needed.
• Assess departmental budgets to minimize expenses and optimize profits.
• Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best.
• Identify friction points and suggest solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
