Michael Page US is seeking an Operations Manager for a regional business unit within a respected electrical construction and services organization. The role reports to senior leadership and oversees operational, financial, and strategic performance to deliver multiple projects.

The successful candidate will lead project management, field operations, safety, quality, and estimating while maintaining client relationships and driving profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
• Experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, quality management systems, and industry regulations.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operational and financial performance of the regional business unit, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, staffing strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Provide leadership across project management, field operations, safety, quality, and estimating functions.
• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and client expectations are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive workforce development through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management.
• Monitor project financial performance, including billing, forecasting, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives.
