Job summary

You will drive a productive workforce, ensure safety compliance, optimize routes with Route Smart, and manage cost controls while aligning with sales forecasts and pricing guidelines. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in the waste industry, with strong leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and improve service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university.
• 5+ years experience in the waste industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate facilities, sales, admin and maintenance leaders.
• Sustain a productive workforce through hiring, training and evaluation.
• Adhere to wage and hour laws and compensate staff per guidelines.
• Maintain high appearance standards for all employees.
• Ensure safe working conditions and promote Safety Program.
• Plan routes to optimize personnel and equipment utilization.
• Implement preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and costs.
• Develop and monitor cost controls for supplies and services.
• Review profit and loss statements monthly and adjust as needed.
• Partner with sales to develop forecasts and pricing guidelines.
• Promote customer focus and manage the sales team to meet objectives.
• Ensure audits of routes and reports are completed on schedule.
• Conform to laws, policies and directives; perform other duties as assigned.
