Job summary

EOG Resources in the United States seeks an engineer/geologist to provide engineering and geological guidance and well bore steering for horizontal wells. The candidate will work closely with geologists, mud loggers, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers to ensure the correct well bore path is obtained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics.
  • 5-7 years of engineering/geological experience in an oilfield-related position.
  • Experience or knowledge in well planning, drilling rig operations, geo-steering techniques, and mud logging practices is a plus.
  • Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
