Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7 years experience in aviation maintenance, manufacturing or manufacturing engineering.
• 2 years supervisory, team lead or project management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, lean concepts.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Operations Engineering and Industrial Engineering activities for a manufacturing unit.
• Oversee multiple projects, program changes and engineering tasks.
• Plan and develop Operations Engineering functions and process optimization.
• Lead lean manufacturing and materials initiatives.
• Provide direction and training to subordinates for quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop future leaders through coaching.
• Develop layout, process flow, tooling, material handling, and cost/quality improvements.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to implement new product installations.
• Analyze performance reports to manage area support.
• Develop and monitor budgets, controlling expenditures.
