Qualifications

• BS/MS in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Software engineering required.
• 3+ years in a mixed production environment.
• Experience with structured problem solving and SPC tools.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and Six Sigma familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support for released products with cross-functional interfaces.
• Set up and automate processes, estimate cost, and advise on tooling and improvements.
• Apply Lean, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Kaizen to refine methods and processes.
• Use problem-solving tools and statistics for corrective actions.
• Maintain MES documentation and control work/test instructions to latest revision.
• Setup and verify BOMs and labor standards for new parts.
• Train and certify assembly operators on processes.
• Design tools/fixtures and coordinate time studies for optimization.
