Job summary

Marathon Petroleum is seeking a senior Operations Engineering leader for MPLX, NG&NGL West. The role oversees gas and crude assets, directs a multi-disciplinary team, and reports to the Operations Engineering Director - West.

The position will be located in Midland, TX, with additional options in San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK. You will manage capital and operating budgets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure PSM practices, and drive accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Ten years engineering experience required.
• Five years industry experience required.
• Knowledge/experience in processing operations, project management and design of gathering and compression systems required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance on Facility, Pipeline, & Process operations to Operations & Engineering teams.
• Lead team of Project Managers for facility Operating Expense and Maintenance Capital projects; provide schedule and budget updates.
• Develop Capital and Expense budgets for areas of responsibility to aid decision making by Operations Director.
• Communicate expectations, monitor performance, and guide personnel career development.
