Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to own a product and process roadmap for AMZL delivery stations, including Multiple Modes of Transportation. You will influence senior leaders across Worldwide Engineering, Last Mile Delivery, and Operations to scale innovations in a fast-growing environment.

You will manage complex initiatives, oversee program delivery, and shape a future DS roadmap.

Qualifications

5+ years of managing multiple large projects.
5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
2+ years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience.
2+ years in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.
Refrigeration Trade School certificate.
Experience in automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or STEM.

Responsibilities

Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of product features for the AMZL Delivery Station including MMOT.
Collaborate with Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products.
Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
Lead execution of the product with high discipline and engagement with development teams.
Present concepts and roadmaps to senior leadership regularly.
Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of the roadmap and milestones.
Drive innovation across AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
Travel up to 20% as required.
