Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst in the Bay Area for a hybrid Oakland role. You will develop ETL pipelines, use Python and SQL to analyze data, and automate data processes to deliver insights for electrification initiatives.

You will build dashboards, handle large datasets, and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions. Local Bay Area candidates only; hybrid onsite ~monthly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant data analytics or data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python skills for data analysis and automation.
• Advanced SQL and database querying experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines across multiple data environments and large datasets.
• Use Python and SQL to extract, transform, analyze, and automate data processes.
• Build automated routines for data cleansing, reporting, and data delivery.
• Identify and integrate new data sources to improve existing pipelines and processes.
• Develop dashboards and perform ad hoc analysis to provide clear, actionable insights.
