Job summary

Capital I, LLC seeks a senior analytics professional to guide Army Medicine leadership by translating operational needs into data-driven insights, dashboards, and decision-support tools. Leads analytics product development, ensures data quality, and applies advanced analysis to improve operational performance, readiness, and efficiency across Army and DoD environments.

Position anticipated to begin on or around October 1, 2026. On-site at Ft.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance required; no sponsorship available.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
  • At least 10 years of experience with Army logistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience defining KPIs, operational metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience performing data validation, reconciliation, cleaning, and root-cause analysis.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into analytic questions, data requirements, and usable products.
  • Manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a client-facing environment.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or similar BI platforms.
  • Experience in Army/DoD networks with access, security constraints.
  • Experience briefing or supporting senior leaders.
  • Experience with SQL, data querying, and data transformation.
  • Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and cybersecurity in government environments.
  • Must provide documentation proving eligibility to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must pass background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor translating operational questions into analytic plans, dashboards, and decision-support artifacts.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on deliverables produced by junior Data Analysts.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve operational dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and decision-support products.
  • Conduct organizational analyses, evaluations, and operational assessments.
  • Collect, validate, and structure information on operational problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques to support decisions.
  • Define and monitor performance metrics for operational effectiveness, efficiency, readiness, and compliance.
  • Develop studies and recommendations regarding new systems and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Present findings to management through executive briefings, presentations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams, and government stakeholders to ensure feasible solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing, deployment, training, and SOPs creation.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, cleaning, and root-cause analysis.
  • Support AI/ML analytics tools to enhance forecasting and anomaly detection.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve operational dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and decision-support products using Army-approved platforms such as Power BI, Army Vantage, and related enterprise analytics environments.
  • Conduct organizational analyses, evaluations, and operational assessments.
  • Collect, validate, and structure information on operational problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques to support decisions, policy development, and managerial activities.
  • Define and monitor performance metrics to assess operational effectiveness, efficiency, readiness, and compliance.
  • Develop studies and recommendations regarding new systems, procedures, and organizational changes to enhance operations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management through executive briefings, presentations, and written reports.
  • Collaborate with functional subject-matter experts, technical teams, and government stakeholders to ensure solutions are feasible, secure, and sustainable within Army and DoD networks.
  • Support user acceptance testing, deployment, training, and adoption of dashboards and tools; create SOPs, user guides, and data dictionaries.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, cleaning, and root-cause analysis to improve data quality and trust in decision-support outputs.
  • Support the development and operationalization of AI and ML enabled analytics tools, where authorized, to enhance forecasting, anomaly detection, and operational decision-making.

Travel

Occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites, approximately 0–15%.

Work Schedule

On-site, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

Salary range: $145,000 – $180,000 per year; exempt.

Work Environment

Work conducted in healthcare or depot facilities and office settings; may include occasional travel (0–15%).
