Job summary

Gold Coast Health Plan is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to perform advanced statistical analyses on healthcare and enterprise data. You will build models, automate processes, and deliver dashboards to support operational decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and analytics teams to improve data assets and regulatory reporting. A strong background in SQL and BI is required, with preferred cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience performing data analysis, statistical analysis, BI, or related analytics.
• 9+ years of progressively responsible experience performing data analysis, statistical analysis, BI, or related analytics.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries for relational databases.
• Experience developing reports/dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced statistical and quantitative analysis of healthcare, operational, claims, encounter, membership, and other enterprise data.
• Develop statistical models and algorithms to identify anomalies, patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities that support decision-making.
• Create enterprise dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and analytical products that translate complex information into actionable insights.
• Automate recurring analytical processes, KPIs, data validation, and regulatory metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define questions, measures of success, and translate findings into recommendations.
