Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Sr. Operations Specialist to join our team on-site at our Irvine, Cerritos, or Corona offices. You will support back-office operations, primarily in Service Operations Support and Customer Care, ensuring service levels are met.

You will review QARs, monitor workloads, train others, and perform duties to cover for PTO. Travel is 0-10% and the role requires at least 3 years in a financial operations environment and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
• 3 years in an operational, accounting, finance or related position in a financial institution required.
• Moderate Excel skills.
• Calabrio functionality.
• Fraud prevention knowledge.
• Basic writing and grammar skills.

Responsibilities

• Review QARs submitted by Customer Care Agents.
• Call review related to the QAR submissions.
• Rewrite QARs in an articulate, detailed, professional manner.
• Complete FEARs and APS call backs.
• Monitor and review Service Operations Support workloads to meet service levels.
• Support Customer Care and cover for PTO as needed.
