Gesa Credit Union is seeking a Sr. Auditor - Operations to strengthen quality and consistency across the Internal Audit function. Reporting to the VP of Internal Audit, you will manage planning, QAIP, methodology, and external coordination while mentoring the audit team.

You will build examiner-ready work, ensure regulatory and professional standard compliance, and drive strategic initiatives to mature the audit function. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of audit-related experience in financial services.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and QAIP practices.
• Ability to train and mentor audit staff.

Responsibilities

• Support audit planning and risk assessment.
• Administer Internal Audit methodology, templates, and documentation.
• Monitor audit plan performance and KPI tracking.
• Provide coaching and peer support to auditors.
• Lead or support strategic initiatives and process improvements.
