Job summary

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) in the Pacific Northwest seeks a senior leader to guide the Transmission Engineering team, drive operational excellence, and advance data-driven decision making across the regional grid.

You will mentor senior analysts and project managers, shape multi-year improvement programs, and align regulatory and governance practices with executive strategy while partnering with regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 in Federal service leading operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience establishing data governance models and designing dashboards to drive compliance and quality.
• Experience leading projects and guiding staff while advising senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and mentor a team of senior analysts and project managers.
• Formulate and execute multi-year operational excellence initiatives.
• Govern and deploy dashboards and metrics using Power BI and SharePoint to support executive decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and align operations with federal standards.
• Oversee division-wide strategic initiatives with clear milestones and accountability.
• Build partnerships with executives and managers to negotiate solutions.
• Improve processes to enhance operational agility and internal customer satisfaction.
• Plan and manage team budgets, staffing, and workloads.
