Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with TransUnion, seeks an Operational Risk and Control Assurance professional to strengthen the risk management framework. The role combines remote work with in-person collaboration at a TransUnion office at least two days per week in a hybrid setup.

You will develop testing methods, perform control assessments, and partner with business units to identify gaps and implement improved controls. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in risk management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, control testing, compliance, internal audit, or control assurance activities.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, banking, insurance, fintech, or other compliance-driven environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Ability to communicate risk and control findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute activities within the ORCA program, supporting TransUnion’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Develop and maintain control testing methodologies, testing scripts, and testing protocols for key operational controls.
• Perform control testing activities, including review of evidence to assess design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk mitigation.
• Support investigations following incidents or risk events and assist in designing enhanced controls.
• Analyze risk, control, and testing results and present findings to stakeholders and risk leadership.
• Assess compliance with risk management policies, standards, and control requirements.
• Document testing results, observations, recommendations, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a strong risk and control culture.
