Job summary

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of laws, principles, policies, and practices of the acquisition process (FAR/DFARS; naval doctrine) including life cycle sustainment and Vendor Threat Mitigation.
• Experience using OCS planning tools and frameworks to translate operational needs into contract requirements.
• Experience developing IGCE, PWS, and SOW to create quotes and support packages.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and measure effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders (General/Flag Officers, SES) on acquisition matters; chair high-level boards; negotiate with interagency partners to implement recommendations involving substantial resources or policy changes.
• Apply OCS planning tools to integrate commercial support into military plans (OPLANs/CONPLANs).
• Develop and examine IGCEs, PWSs, and SOWs to createQuotes and support packages translating operational needs into contract requirements.
