Santa Clara Valley Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Nurse III for Operating Room / Perioperative departments. The role requires an active California RN license and at least three years of RN experience, including one year in OR.

BSN is preferred, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications highly desirable. The successful candidate will lead nursing care in a dynamic perioperative setting, coordinate patient plans, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license without restrictions.
• Three years of full-time RN experience, with at least one year in Operating Room.
• BSN is preferred; certification in perioperative nursing is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs and develop individual care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Coordinate activities to implement the plan of care and discharge planning.
• Lead and participate in teaching and supervising staff and students.
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities and unit staffing decisions when assigned.
