Job summary

Leidos is seeking an OpenShift Enterprise Architect to design, implement, and govern an on-premises OpenShift platform for NASA OSI/FRED workloads. You will craft end-to-end architecture, define cluster topology, and ensure security, resilience, and enterprise alignment.

The role requires 8+ years in OpenShift/Kubernetes, strong Linux skills, and a Red Hat/OpenShift certification or ability to obtain it within six months. Collaboration across teams and strict governance will be essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and/or Linux experience.
• OpenShift Administration certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, and container orchestration knowledge.
• Experience with security, networking, and platform governance at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise OpenShift platform and compute/storage strategy.
• Lead on-premises OpenShift design, upgrades, multi-cluster governance, and observability.
• Implement security policies, zero-trust controls, and PKI integration across clusters.
• Provide architectural oversight for app onboarding and workload migrations to OpenShift.
• Architect monitoring and automation with GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD.
