Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims from intake to resolution.
• WCP, CWCP, CWC, and/or ARM certifications preferred; Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in lieu.
• Experience with a strong focus in blue-collar industries such as industrial, oilfield or construction sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage high workloads with tight deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document complex cases clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and legal documentation systems.
• Experience supporting multi-state operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of Workers’ Compensation, automobile, and general liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Monitor medical care, work status, defense counsel reports, reserves, claim files, and adjuster activity.
• Support General Counsel with claims-related litigation and subpoenas; provide coverage analysis to executives.
• Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Safety, Finance and Human Resources; liaise with brokers, carriers and Third Party Administrator/adjusters.
• Submit claims to Broker/carrier; follow up with operations; track medical status and reserves.
• Monitor safety documentation and coordinate with Safety on incidents; maintain certificates of insurance during renewal.
• Coordinate with Broker/Operations on endorsements and maintain a detailed list of insurance requirements.
• Assist General Counsel with invoicing and information requests; support on complex claims, lawsuits, and document discovery.
• Advise on coverage and claims processes; maintain familiarity with all insurance coverage.
• Coordinate return-to-work and light-duty with Safety and Operations; ensure status updates on claims.
