Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Occupational Safety and Care Coordinator to join the Safety team on projects in La Grange, GA; Hampton and Atlanta, GA. This full-time, in-person role advocates for injured workers and manages the claims process, coordinating with subcontractors and third-party partners to deliver a best-in-class experience from first report to return to work.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of construction safety experience, including onsite claims handling.
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1904 Subpart C — Recordkeeping Forms and Recording Criteria.
• Excellent people and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of care coordination for injured workers, including accompanying to medical appointments.
• Establish and maintain panels of physicians and occupational health providers for projects.
• Administer the claims and care process for onsite injuries and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Lead incident investigations with the safety team and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Track incident data and trends, flag risk factors, and drive proactive improvements.
• Maintain professional communication with leadership on claim status and wellness initiatives.
