Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Senior Planner to lead production, material, and inventory planning across operations. This onsite role in Amboy, IL partners with Production, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality to meet goals and deliver on time.

You will develop schedules, analyze ERP/Excel data, and drive decisions while coordinating with internal and external customers. A strong background in planning and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and/or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent analytical skills with Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related analytical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, material, and inventory planning to support customer demand and plant objectives.
• Develop and optimize production schedules while balancing inventory, material, and operational priorities.
• Analyze and enter data in ERP system/Excel to drive planning decisions.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality departments to ensure we deliver product to our customers on time and in full.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
• Investigate and resolve rejected raw material issues, accounting problems and receiving issues.
