Catalent Pharma Solutions in Manassas, VA is seeking a Sr. Process Maintenance Technician with strong knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and electrical/mechanical systems.

The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and supporting production while ensuring GMP compliance and minimal downtime. Candidates should have 5–8 years in maintenance, an appropriate degree or vocational training, and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience, or technical/vocational training.
• Background in industrial maintenance or skilled trades in the food industry.
• Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting various types of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with small-scale process improvement projects.
• Build machine foundations and install equipment such as shafting and conveyors.
• Review engineering specs, schematics, and blueprints to determine procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including PLCs, VFDs, motors, and pumps.
• Maintain good housekeeping in repair shops and plant areas.
