Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology, acquired from Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Lenexa, KS.

You will handle emergency maintenance to sustain daily production, complete PMs, and lead repair, modification, and fabrication projects to keep equipment reliable. You’ll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineering to install and optimize capital equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of applicable work experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with automated production equipment and industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs or adjustments as directed by work orders on production equipment.
• Support daily manufacturing and packaging operations by performing repairs to improve OEE.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance and general repair work orders on schedule.
• Fabricate replacement parts as needed in the maintenance shop.
• Assist in analyzing issues to ensure work aligns with SOPs.
• Communicate shift handoffs and collaborate with engineering on reliability.
• Support new equipment installations with engineering.
