Sterling Computers Corporation is seeking a Senior Service Technician to work onsite at a client’s IT center in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues, ordering parts, and completing repairs while coordinating with Sterling and client IT staff.

You will manage daily workflow, communicate across teams, and ensure accurate repair records. The position requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a client environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years depot and download experience required.
• A+ certification or technical certification preferred.
• Associate degree or 3+ years computer repair experience required.
• Knowledge of assembling/disassembling a wide range of computers; Dell experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose computer hardware malfunctions to determine needed replacement parts.
• Order parts via vendor websites per each policy.
• Disassemble/assemble computers for repair as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records using ticketing systems.
• Manage inventory in client-provided warehouse (receiving, shipping, and storage).
• Work with limited supervision and meet timelines for PM projects.
• Support data collection and reporting on repairs.
