Job summary

LightRiver Technologies, Inc. seeks a Resident Engineer to join our on-site team in Richardson, TX, driving deployment and validation of advanced DWDM networks for a Fortune 10 hyperscale technology client.

You will lead design validation, field deployment, and troubleshooting across North America, Europe, and APAC, interfacing with customers and vendors and contributing to MOP development and training.

Qualifications

5+ years optical network deployment experience.
Experience with DWDM transport systems and longhaul/metro architectures.
Strong troubleshooting and customer engagement skills.
Experience with Ciena 6500 RLS and Waveserver platforms.

Responsibilities

Enable international optical network deployment, integration, and migration activities including factory staging, field deployment, site survey and fiber optic characterization.
Provide network design validation and technical analysis.
Serve as a technical leader supporting advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Act as primary technical interface with the customer and third-party vendors.
Support configuration, documentation and MOP development.
Provide internal and external training and technical development.
