Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead our Memphis data center build. You will be the on-site leader, owning relationships with contractors and internal teams, guiding end-to-end execution from pre-construction to commissioning.

The role requires strong engineering judgment, vendor coordination, and a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of large-scale construction experience, a civil/mechanical/electrical engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years leading large-scale construction projects, data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong engineering background with ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Proven on-site leadership with vendors, partners and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and dynamic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior construction representative for the Memphis data center and manage relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from pre-construction to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate multiple vendors and ensure clear communication among field teams, engineering and technical stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safety, schedule adherence and operational readiness.
• Drive progress, resolve roadblocks and maintain multi-phase timelines.
• Align construction schedules with broader infrastructure and AI goals through cross-functional collaboration.
• Guide technical integration with engineering and commissioning teams.
• Provide regular updates via KPI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with base design standards and perform field verifications for forecasting.
