Qualifications

• At least 10–15 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract security.
• Ability to pass a federal background check for DOE Q clearance.
• Health and Safety training, medical monitoring, and drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Construction Specialist staff including training and performance management.
• Support hiring decisions, evaluations, and personnel actions including compensation.
• Define scope, labor, materials, and execution strategy with project management.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure documentation of work.
• Inspect construction to ensure contract specs and safety standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, validate subcontractor invoices, and conduct inspections.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with ES&H, OSHA, and hazard analyses.
• Provide regular progress reporting to project management.
