Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Oncology Specialist to lead territory planning and execution for Thoracic, GI/GU and Retina markets in the San Francisco area. You will deliver branded messages, execute programs, schedule medical educational events, and work to exceed sales targets while maintaining strong patient focus.

You will leverage relationships to manage accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and ensure access to products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan with branded sales messages and programs.
• Service and manage accounts, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts.
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to aid in driving sales.
• Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Grow passion for Oncology and sustain it through the sales cycle while strengthening the brand.
