Ohio State University is seeking a Scheduling Senior Coordinator for the James Ambulatory Clinic Scheduling. This role supports patients, clinicians, and the organization by coordinating appointments, procedures, and admissions across multiple software systems.

Advanced proficiency in EMR platforms such as Cadence, Optime and Aria is expected, along with capacity to train staff and ensure accurate demographic and insurance data. Excellent communication is essential across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PC knowledge and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in patient access or similar field.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical support to patients, clinical care teams and the organization.
• Coordinate scheduling for appointments, procedures, surgeries, and admissions.
• Assist with registration tasks, precertification and financial counseling when needed.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff and patients to ensure accurate information flow.
