Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, and deliver activities for designated clinical study projects, ensuring objectives in quality, scope, cost, and time are met.

The role requires leading client communications, overseeing cross-functional teams including external vendors, maintaining budgets, and driving risk management and quality across studies. Domestic and international travel is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science/health-related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies; 4+ years in PM.
• Experience in managing complex and global trials.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point-of-contact to the client and escalation point.
• Coordinate and oversee all functional services including external vendors to timeline and budget.
• Manage study budget and ensure out-of-scope activities are addressed appropriately.
• Maintain collaboration with clinical operations and participate in clinical activities as needed.
• Oversee financial health of studies, including profitability, billing, and forecasts.
• Develop robust project plans with timelines and risk management.
• Ensure quality management and ISO/GCP compliant practices across projects.
• Track metrics and report progress to clients and senior management.
• Lead internal and client meetings and set project expectations.
• Communicate protocol/study issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct formal presentations to diverse audiences including Bid Defenses.
