Job summary

The Woodlands Pharmacy Team at MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least two years of experience to work in an ambulatory oncology setting. Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma and relevant technician training, with hospital pharmacy background preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least two years of experience.
• Experience in ambulatory oncology setting preferred; hospital pharmacy experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding/preparation following SOPs (USP 797/800/NIOSH).
• Inventory management and loss prevention; coordinate with suppliers.
• Daily operational duties including equipment maintenance and use of pharmacy systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and complete required certifications.
