Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s West Houston Pharmacy seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join its ambulatory oncology team in Houston. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid pharmacy technician certification, and at least two years of pharmacy technician experience, with hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities include safe and accurate dispensing, patient education, and collaborative care with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and Pharmacy technician certification.
• Two years of pharmacy technician experience required; hospital experience preferred.
• CPHT and IV-related certification are preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe, accurate medication dispensing in ambulatory oncology settings.
