Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to cover the Upington, Northern Cape region. You will engage with KOLs and HCPs, communicate complex oncology data, and support clinical trials while traveling extensively.

The role requires an advanced scientific degree and 5+ years MSL experience in oncology, with strong presentation and written communication skills and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent).
• At least 5 years as a Medical Science Liaison, preferably oncology.
• Strong understanding of oncology and clinical trial methods.
• Proven ability to engage with KOLs and communicate complex data clearly.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, oncologists and researchers.
• Present complex clinical data and disease education on company products.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs.
• Gather field insights on practice patterns and unmet needs for internal teams.
• Support clinical trial activities including site identification and recruitment.
• Develop and deliver scientific presentations at meetings and congresses.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, clinical development and commercial teams.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, codes and regulations.
