Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based MSL/Senior MSL in the Mid-Atlantic region to strategically support research and business objectives across an assigned geography. You will communicate AbbVie science to healthcare professionals, develop expert knowledge, and build partnerships with thought leaders and researchers.

The role emphasizes data-driven medical education, cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 75% within the territory of Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (i.e., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, APP) in a relevant scientific discipline; Doctorate strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and researchers in assigned areas.
• Present scientific information to healthcare professionals across the lifecycle of AbbVie products.
• Support research initiatives and external collaborations as requested by AbbVie departments.
• Provide medical/scientific support and education to internal and external customers.
