Job summary

Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Sr Medical Science Liaison for the Central Region.

You will build long-term scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators, provide medical education, and support clinical development within oncology. In this field-based role, you will communicate complex data, deliver non-promotional information, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform medical strategy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or advanced clinical/scientific degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in biotech/pharma life sciences.
• At least 3 years as an MSL or in a Field Medical role; oncology preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present balanced messages.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel up to 60% regionally and some international.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators.
• Create and execute strategic engagement plans for priority accounts.
• Deliver fair-balanced scientific exchange and medical education.
• Interpret complex clinical data for diverse audiences.
• Identify and communicate actionable medical insights to inform Medical Affairs strategy.
• Support local, regional, and national scientific meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Medical Affairs objectives.
• Provide scientific support for clinical development and trials.
• Engage in discussions about disease biomarkers and trial sites.
• Lead field medical projects and participate in advisory boards.
• Maintain field activity documentation.
