Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator team leader to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with GCP and SOPs.

You will train staff, coordinate with regulatory and shared services, optimize workflows, and manage study documentation in CTMS and EHR systems. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in health administration, nursing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years clinical research experience plus 2 years of leadership in oncology.
• CITI GCP training.
• Knowledge of GCP and applicable US clinical research regulations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to the Clinical Research Coordinator team to support quality patient care.
• Train, coach, and assess staff competency for assigned responsibilities.
• Ensure timely study documentation and communication with monitors and auditors.
• Support study acquisition and activation with Shared Services and protocol reviews.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, Site Development, Pharmacy, Finance and others for compliant study delivery.
• Promote use of CTMS, EHR, and data capture within the assigned area.
• Identify and implement process improvements for patients, staff and site operations.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
