Job summary

Pfizer Commercial Oncology is expanding its team in Des Moines, IA. The Senior Oncology Account Specialist will promote Pfizer’s oncology portfolio to healthcare providers and key accounts, educate on product use, and call on hospitals and practices to improve patient care and patient experience.

The role requires strong relationship-building, a deep understanding of oncology, and ability to travel domestically. A BA/BS or equivalent with industry experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher; or associate’s with 8+ years experience; or HS diploma with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and overnight as needed.
• Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical sales or Oncology HCP experience with key opinion leaders.

Responsibilities

• Promote Pfizer oncology portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
• Educate healthcare professionals on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
• Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patient experience and care quality.
• Develop strategic plans to drive growth across assigned territory.
