UVA Health’s Emily Couric Cancer Center is seeking an Access Associate Senior to be a trusted representative, ensuring compassionate access to oncology care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Licensure: None.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients, families, and referring providers across multiple points of the care continuum, in person and by phone.
• Manage complex patient scheduling to ensure timely visits with correct records, especially in oncology clinics where timing is critical.
• Serve as a primary contact for patients requesting preferred physicians and for departments coordinating appointments.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information, support cash collections, and address patient needs with professionalism.
