Job summary

Club Capital LLC is a rapidly growing business management services firm serving clients nationwide. This senior role leads the onboarding team to ensure client books are clean, current, and handed off smoothly across for-profit and nonprofit clients including insurers and youth organizations.

You will manage a team of onboarding accountants, set expectations, maintain timelines, and coordinate with tax and continuing CAS teams to deliver accurate, timely financials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience at senior level.
• Experience with catch-up and cleanup work, untangling messy books.
• Experience with both for-profit and nonprofit accounting.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work at different stages.
• Experience leading, training, or reviewing other accountants.
• Strong client communication to explain books clearly.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of onboarding accountants: assign work, review output, and develop the team.
• Serve as the first delivery lead for every new client after the sale closes, setting expectations and building trust.
• Own and deliver retroactive accounting work, including catch-up bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Set up new client accounts in our systems and connect them to the tools and processes.
• Manage the change side of onboarding, explaining changes and getting clients to adapt.
• Coordinate handoff to ongoing CAS accountant with complete books and documentation.
• Coordinate with tax team for clients onboarding for tax work and introductions.
• Track onboarding progress across stages and drive timely completion.
