Job summary

McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Senior On-Site Representative/Resident Project Representative (RPR) to work closely with project managers on drinking water and wastewater projects. The Sr.

RPR serves as the primary liaison between client, contractor and design team and ensures contract requirements are met on site. The ideal candidate has extensive field experience in water utilities, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to read plans and supervise construction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA or equivalent from a two-year college preferred.
• Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering degree a plus.
• Minimum 10–15 years of related wastewater and/or drinking water construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and effectively enforce the Contract Documents.
• Prepare comprehensive punch lists and monitor completion.
• Discuss contract meaning and contractor's work product as Owner's agent when disagreements arise.
• Apply best interest of the Owner to resolve conflicts on site.
• Maintain knowledge of Iowa DOT TTCP and related standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, client, contractor and design team on site.
